Wasn't that just a spiritual powerhouse of a weekend. Man, I could clearly see how much preparation was put into each one of those talks. Everything seemed to fit so perfectly. I loved it so much and I hope you all did too! It was a great chance for us to form some really strong relationships with some members who are not as unfalterable with their testimonies. A recent convert, Robert, in the Golden Gate ward took us out to eat between the two Saturday sessions. Delicious food and amazing stories. Basically, he's traveled all over the world and I was like, man, I would LOVE to do that! But anyways, it was just a representation of how awesome that weekend was! It was filled with good stuff. :)
My new companion is Elder Habel! He's from Scottsdale, Arizona and he is so awesome! For example, he has no fear!!! We were walking through a not as nice part of town on his first full day in the field and he was so willing to talk with everyone. He has so much courage and I'm really excited to work with him. It is good for me because it gets me to talk to more people too! It's been a lot of fun already!
The hard thing is that with this new missionary here, it also means that more is expected of me and honestly, sometimes I wonder if I'm up to accomplish what is expected of me. We've been talking a lot about sacrifices in our mission lately. A sacrifice is often something that you give up for another, often bigger purpose. So, I'm going to, in a sense, set things straight. I've never been good at emailing people back. And I am so sorry for that. I honestly am. I wish I could do better in that respect but honestly, I haven't had enough time to email everyone back personally and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. I want you all to know that I love each of you soooo much. As I am sending this my love for all of you is full. Thank you so much for all of your support. I will continue sending my weekly emails, and I want you to know how grateful I am for the emails that you continue to send me. Even though I don't have time to respond, I do have time to read them. Please keep sending me updates. Thank you so much for all that you do. You are all amazing!
